FOCUS. A great acronym for the word focus is Follow One Course Until Successful. One of the biggest reasons new online business owners fail is because they try to spread themselves too thin. Instead of putting all of their time and energy into the success of one project, they jump between ideas and keep chasing “the next big thing”. If you find yourself doing this, make it a goal to choose only one of your projects and focus exclusively on it for the next 3 months. You’ll be amazed by the results you get when you FOCUS.
Know when it’s time to walk away.
Not every project is destined to be a success. You may give something your all and yet it fails to find its place in the market. If this happens you have to be willing to cut your losses and move on. A bigger and better project is waiting for you!
And remember that everyone fails at some point. That’s just a fact of life. So if you’re working on a project that you’re unsure about, the faster you get it done, the faster you’ll be able to see whether it’s a failure or a success. Nothing is worse than spending six months on a project and then finding out it’s not going to work.
